FNLL Opening Day Ceremony - Saturday, April 27th

Fairfield National Little League will be celebrating the kick-off of the 2024 baseball season with our Opening Day Ceremony on Saturday, April 27th starting at 9:00AM at upper Tunxis Hill Park.

Our festivities will include Mavin the DJ supplying music throughout the morning along with hot dog and ice cream trucks (Alene's and Saugatuck Sweets) on-hand for each of the players. We will also Yale New Haven with their touch an ambulance onsite, a bike from sponsor Trek that will raffle off, Garden Catering and new sponsor Corner Market & Sandwich shop on-hand selling breakfast items for families. Please note that the Corner Market table will be cash only purchases.

As part of the festivities, we will also be celebrating our sponsors by taking team pictures of all teams prior to the start of the ceremony. Please see the attached document with a schedule by division/team for photo times.

The ceremony will look to recognize our summer teams from last season as well as our 12yo players who will be playing their last year of little league. In addition, we will be taking this opportunity to recognize former President, Dante Gallucci and Player Agent, Robert Martin for their years of service to the league and Fairfield community. We will also have our new First Selectman and other local politicians on-hand to help celebrate the day.

Parents, please lot that upper Tunxis Hill parking lot will be quite busy with food trucks and players so we would kindly ask that families park in the lower Tunxis parking lot, along the road or side streets leading up to the Tunxis Hill parking lot. We look forward to seeing everyone to officially kick-off the 2024 FNLL baseball season.
